KOSAIR CHARITIES EAST CAMPUS
(Ages 3-11)

9810 Bluegrass Parkway
Louisville, KY  40299

At BCA, we are proud to offer data-driven programs led by our team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who work in collaboration with parents, RBT’s, speech therapists, and other BCA staff members. Our data collection process is essential to our therapy and support, ensuring that each child receives personalized treatment interventions that lead to progress towards their full potential.

At our Kosair for Kids East Campus, we provide 1:1 client-to-staff instruction alongside small group instruction throughout the day. Our treatment plans at BCA prioritize communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, self-help skills, functional academics, and play skills, with communication being the core element of our program. We use a combination of Applied Behavioral Analysis and Speech Therapy to help learners acquire an effective system of communication, and we provide augmentative communication support, when necessary to foster their ability to express themselves and understand others. Small group instruction is available when appropriate, while ach activity focuses on promoting independence at every level.

We are committed to providing effective and personalized treatment interventions to ensure our children reach their fullest potential. We are proud to offer programs that are data-driven and led by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts. At BCA, we believe in the power of collaboration and strive to work alongside parents, RBT’s, speech therapists, graduate students and other staff members to create a supportive and effective learning environment for our children.

MID CITY CAMPUS (Ages 12+)

1250 Bardstown Road, Suite 15
Louisville, KY 40204

At Bluegrass Center for Autism's Mid City Campus, we provide a combination of 1:1 and small group instruction to ensure each client receives personalized attention throughout the day. For those who require more support, we place a greater emphasis on developing functional living skills, with a concentration on communication, daily living, and socialization. Our individualized programming is centered around effective communication, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech Therapy to ensure the best outcomes for each client.

At Mid City, life skills training is a core component of our programming. Our 8,000 square foot campus is located in Bardstown Road's Mid City Mall, offering clients the opportunity to learn and practice new skills in a "real world" setting. We provide community-based instruction that extends into the stores and businesses in and around the Mid City Mall, creating an extension of the BCA campus. We take pride in our commitment to providing exceptional care and training for our learners at the Mid City Campus.

VOCATIONAL PROGRAM
MID CITY CAMPUS (ages 15+)

At BCA, we are dedicated to leveraging diverse thinking and problem-solving through partnerships with other community organizations and civic leadership in our Vocational Training Program. This program is designed to benefit teens and young adults who currently receive services at our Mid City Campus.

Learners in this program receive a combination of 1:1 staff-to-learner ratio and small group/socialization instruction throughout the day. The program places a strong emphasis on developing and increasing communication, daily living, socialization, and vocational training skills. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that when our learners reach an age of employment, they have the job skills necessary to become employed either through BCA or outside sources.

One of the most significant benefits of the Vocational Training Program is that it exposes our young adults to real-life social and workplace experiences. While participating in this program, our learners apply the vocational skills they’ve mastered at the center and reach beyond the walls of BCA into the community. This allows them to gain practical experience and develop a sense of purpose and belonging, which is crucial to their overall well-being.

We are proud to partner with other nonprofits and organizations that promote health, nutrition, and conservation. Through these partnerships, our learners can gain exposure to new experiences and opportunities, and our partners can benefit from the unique perspectives and talents our learners bring to their programs.

Some of our community partners include Bluegrass E-Cycle, Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent DePaul, Dare to Care, Eco Cell, Highland Community Ministries, Nearly New Consignment Store, Wicked Sheets, Highland Community Center, Wayside Christian Mission, The Warehouse, Rainbow Blossom, Kendall Optometry Ministry, South Louisville Community, Meals on Wheels, Blessings in a Backpack, Clothing Assistance Program, Bluegrass Recycling, and Eco Tech.

By partnering with BCA, our community partners have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our learners and help them achieve their fullest potential. They also gain access to a unique pool of talented individuals who are eager to contribute to their programs and make a positive difference in the community.

COMMUNITY PROGRAM (ages 2 and up)

Introducing our newest program, aimed at serving children and young adults of all ages and their families in their own homes and communities. Our team of dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts has designed this program to provide personalized support to clients who may be on our waitlist for more intensive treatment  or for those individuals that do not require intensive clinic-based services.

Our Community Coordinators work closely with families to identify specific needs and develop customized programs to meet those needs. We are committed to helping children achieve their fullest potential by providing the same high-quality care and evidence-based interventions that have made BCA a leader in the field of autism treatment.

This program not only benefits the children and families we serve, but also creates opportunities for community partnerships and collaborations. We believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all children, regardless of their unique needs. Join us in this important work and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families in our community.
